I purchased my first anime cel when I was in seventh grade, a cel of Shido from Nightwalker. Unfortunately, I didn't care for it properly, and it ended up becoming wrecked and thrown out. I never though I'd go much further into the hobby much after that, since I knew how expensive it can get. I was sure wrong.
My other hobbies include collecting vinyl record albums, vintage concert shirts, and rare VHS movies, mostly all from the 1980's. Outside of cel collecting my other primary hobby is interviewing celebrities - find me on YouTube at Chris Mayek!
